DOMAINE MADELIN PETIT

It was in 1986 that Claude and Dany bought this 10 hectare property composed mainly of cherry trees, at few kilometers south of Auxerre, in the village of Vaux. Since then, the vineyard has five hectares divided between three hectares of Chardonnay and two of Pinot Noir. In order to cultivate their philosophy and peasant convictions, the Madelin-Petits also have 12 hectares of cherry trees dotted with hedges, around the vineyard, promoting greater biodiversity and also the benefits of polyculture. The estate produces only two cuvées (Bio/Biodynamics) in natural vinification with indigenous yeasts and very little intervention or movement of the wine.
