Beaujolais

DOMAINE DAVID-BEAUPÈRE
Clément, initially trained in corporate finance, worked in the food industry before returning to his family's vineyards in northern Beaujolais. Facing the potential abandonment of the estate, he pursued agricultural studies at I.S.A.R.A. and took over in La Bottière, Juliénas. With little experience or network, he produced his first vintage in 2008 on 4 hectares, converting to organic in 2009. Over time, his precision and finesse in winemaking grew, expanding to 8 hectares and four cuvées. His wines, hand-harvested and minimally processed, showcase the terroir, with flagship cuvée Vayolette aged 12 months in half-muids.
